The world's most watched drama series gave us reasons this weekend as to why we always anticipate each episode. The script this weekend took a dramatic turn.
The late kick off on saturday saw Man United take on Norwich at Carrow Road. The game was meant to be a routine victory for the Red Devils but Anthony Pilklington and his team mates had other ideas. His expertly taken header on the hour mark was enough to give the canaries victory. Taking nothing away from Norwich, United looked far from their very best as their attack which has scored more goals than any other team in the league(29) looked jaded without Wayne Rooney. Norwich have now beaten United, Arsenal and Spurs #SurvivalForm.
Chelsea's were stunned by West Brom 2-1. The baggies were clinical in front of goal with goals from Shane Long and Odemwinge. Hazard scored for Chelsea but on the whole the Blues were not up for it against a spirited West Brom Side. Manager Roberto Di Matteo had dropped several first team players for the game and it showed as Chelsea were disjointed. Questions will be asked about Chelsea's defence which is conceding goals for fun and even more questions asked about Fernando Torres. Chelsea have now picked up 2 points from a possible 12 #NotChampionshipForm
Champions Man City delivered their best display of the season as they romped a hapless Villa 5-0. Silva scored the opener followed by a brace each from Aguero and Tevez. This puts City in great mode ahead of their champions league match with Real Madird on Wednesday.#SuperSubDzekoNotNeeded
Luiz Suarez put in another top notch performance for Liverpool as they beat Wigan 3-0 for only their second home win of the season.#UnbeatenIn7LeagueGames
The North London derby was the game of the weekend. Spurs travelled to the Emirates hoping for a good result and they got off to a brilliant start when former gunner Emmanuel Adebayor gave them the lead. Adebayor soon turned from hero to villain as he was sent off for a reckless tackle on Carzola.
Arsenal duly took charge of their numerical advantage to race into a 2 goal lead at the break. The game ended 5-2 in favour of the gunners.Exactly the same score as it did in this same fixture last season.#RampantGunners.
